April 2005 NEW Coda "C" Class Components Announced. On June 15, 2005, we will be unveiling the long-awaited upscale successors to the Continuum Stage Amplifier and Window Preamplifier. These new products, while retaining key design concepts and the heritage of our successful Continuum brand, will offfer a new level of sonic perfomance and styling over past models. The new models mark the beginning of our move to consolidate the Continuum products under the Coda name. The styling and sonics, although similar to past models, will move closer to our topline Coda products. The C Class Preamplfiier will have an entirely new preamp buffer stage that has been thoroughly tested and evaluated by dealers and owners of the previous Window preamplifier to have dramatically improved sonics. These new products will now be branded as 'Coda', and will be carried in a new 'C Class' or 'Continuum Class' series of high value oriented components.. These products will be emblazoned with a polished silver 'Coda' logo, identical to the polished gold 'Coda' logo on our topline Coda components. This new branding will provide 'pride of Coda ownership' to our value-oriented customers. We are also be limited production variants of these new products, including the new CX Monoblock, which will built around a parallelled, unbridged output stage previously found only in our flagship System MX. Late this year, we will be releasing multichannel versions of both products for the highly competitive home theater market. |

April 2005 NEW Coda "Quadraphase" Component Support System Announced Form follows function with our new component support footer system, Quadraphase. This new modular support system will soon be available as option on all Coda products and as standard equipment on the Coda System 100 and System MX. The new multilayer support component consists of a Delrin multipoint contact foot that dramatically decreases the point load of conventional point-type isolation footers. In addition, this new multipoint contact rejects vibration, and minimizes the chance of surface damage to stacked components. The footer is housed in a beautiful polished aluminum housing that is attached to the component's base. A layer of Sorbothane between the aluminum housing and the delrin foot dampens minor vibrations that pass through the footer, resulting in an exceptional blend of vibration rejection and absorption. A datasheet and additonal data to be released soon. |

January 2005 Las Vegas CES 2005 a major success for Coda. For the first time in many years, Coda presented at "T.H.E SHOW" in Las Vegas. With the help of our friends at Legacy Audio, Tyler Acoustics, Cardas Audio, Jena Labs, and The Modwright, our exhibition was a great success - as evidenced by our '10 Best Sounds at CES Award' from Stereo Times Magazine. A big 'thank you' to all who helped and to all our customers, friends, media, dealers and distributors who stopped by. See you next year! |
